What is SERP?
SERP is an abbreviation for the term search engines result page. This refers to the listed page of content that a search engine brings up in response to a given search command. The command given to a search engine is in the form of a single word that may sum up the entire nature of the search; such a word is called a key word. The job of the search engine is to work through all the available material and match that keyword with the content available. The search engine results page or SERP is usually in the form of a page that contains links of other web site. The links given further more have a sort abstract in which the search key word is highlighted for checking whether the information present on the web site is relative to the nature of the search performed.
