A targeted visitor is a visitor which would be interested in the services and products your site has to offer.

The market your site intends to serve, the articles or blogs you made are speaking to certain group of people or targeted visitor. If you have ads in your site it must be appropriate for a certain group of people. Would an aquarist click on an advertisement that refers to dog food? The question is how do we get the targeted visitor to our site? The answer lies on the proper use of keywords. Let’s say a dog lover would search for proper ways to feed his breed of dog. He would type “how to feed my pet dog,” your site’s article should have keywords relating to this search for him to find your site.
